Every week, Oaklawn students enjoy a planned outing to beautiful Wisconsin State Parks, major attractions in some of the cities of the Midwest, including Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison, skiing during the winter months, indoor and outdoor water parks at beautiful Wisconsin Dells (the water park capital of the world) and a vast variety of other group outings.
Some of the venues our students visit include:
- Six Flags Great America Theme Park
- Wisconsin State Parks
- Wisconsin Dells Water Parks
(including Noah’s Ark, the largest water park in the United States) - Museums
(including Museum of Science & Industry, Field Museum, Adler Planetarium,Shedd Aquarium in Chicago)
- Chicago attractions
(including Navy Pier, Willis Tower, Michigan Avenue, Sea Dogs) - Professional Sporting Events
(including professional basketball, hockey, soccer, baseball and football games) - Short trips in the Spring
(some past short trips were organized for Boston, Orlando, Minnesota and Michigan)
